John Hacker Endorses McVey for Congress
Cites McVey’s Background and Ties to Huntington County for Decision

(Huntington) – Carmel businessman Brose McVey, candidate for Congress in Indiana’s 5th district, received the endorsement of Huntington County Council President John E. Hacker.

“Brose McVey’s background in agriculture, work alongside Huntington’s own Dan Quayle, and experience as a small business owner is the type of citizen leadership we need in Washington,” said Councilman Hacker. “I’m supporting Brose McVey because I know that we can count on him to work for the citizens of Huntington County and to lead the team that can improve our community.”

“It is truly an honor to have the support of Councilman Hacker,” McVey stated. “He is a sterling example of what a public servant should be. I am humbled that Councilman Hacker believes I am the best candidate to carry the Republican mantle and represent Huntington County in Congress.”

Brose McVey will be in Huntington on Tuesday, August 25 for a public meet-and-greet at Coffee D’Vine from 4:30-5:30pm and will be participating in the campaign’s first joint candidate forum at the Dan Quayle Vice-Presidential Museum from 6-8pm.

Also running for the Republican nomination in the 5th district primary are long-time Congressman Dan Burton, former Indianapolis Coroner John McGoff, Indianapolis State Representative Mike Murphy, and Indianapolis lobbyist Luke Messer.
